Adventures in La La Land

The story of this giant move…

So it begins, my move to Los Angeles as a young actress, and my very first blog post! I couldn't be more excited to begin this adventure with you all.

As many of you know, over the past few weeks, my entire life has turned into a whirlwind of unexpected changes.

I originally visited LA in April for two weeks. I wanted to “test out the waters” in this magical city I’ve heard so much about. Since I was a young actress living in Florida, having the chance to experience a few days here was practically a dream. I mean, this is the center of it all right?! Visiting the very place where all of my childhood icons lived and made films that formed our culture was needless to say, LIFE CHANGING.

So I began this trip, having every detail memorized on this “mini vacation” (even to the point of memorizing traffic and metro patterns.) YIKES. As usual, nothing on this trip went close to “as planned.” Three days in, I made the decision to pack up my life and move to LA in less than eight weeks. WHAT?!

Needless to say, it happened. I packed up all of my belongings, hopped in the car. Next, I began the LONGEST road trip ever experienced by any man known to earth. (“Goodness Katelyn, wouldn’t you say that’s a little dramatic?” Yes, definitely yes, but what can I say? I am an actress after all…)

So here I am, sitting on my balcony that looks into the Hollywood Hills. I’m watching the sun go down, and currently asking myself “how in the world” I got here…

This has been CRAZY. This has been EXCITING. This has been SO SO SCARY, but I can’t wait to take you on this journey with me. So welcome to the first official entry of “the Katelyn Adair blog.” Full of fashion, lifestyle and up to date details of this SUPER WILD ride! So, thanks for coming along… This adventure is going to be AMAZING!
